What is Cellex-C® ?

Cellex-C® is a range of skin care products that concentrate on increasing Vitamin C levels in the skin and thereby reducing and arresting wrinkle-formation. In its earliest form, in the early 1990s, Cellex-C® was the first topical Vitamin C application to appear on the market, and was developed by Dr Lorraine Meisner, a cell biologist and cytogenecist, and Dr. Michael Schinitsky, a pathologist.

Today, Cellex-C® has developed into a large range of products adequately priced between $40 and $200 a container, and is one of the most popular remedies in several parts of the world for wrinkles, laugh lines, and crow’s feet.

• Cellex-C® High Potency Serum: Rids the face and neck of fine lines and wrinkles and contains 10% Vitamin C. essentially, it tones up sagging skin and reduces visible signs of aging.

• Cellex-C® Serum for Sensitive Skin: This formulation has been adjusted to suit highly sensitive skins and is a lightweight, oil-free, aqueous solution. Regular use reduces the visible signs of aging and improves the elasticity and resilience of the skin.

• Cellex-C® Fade Away Gel: It is a green tea-colored, oil free, aqueous solution containing a full complement of patented signature ingredients and plant glycosides, and it lightens the appearance of age and sun spots using natural chemicals.

• Cellex-C® Body Smoothing Lotion: Minimizes cellulite while toning flaccid skin, and gives skin a smoother appearance in as little as two months. Also improves the color and texture of the skin.

• Cellex-C® Skin Firming Cream: Helps firm up the skin and increase its resilience.

• Cellex-C® Skin Firming Cream Plus : Eradicates fine lines, firms the skin and has a non-greasy emollient base. Also increases the elasticity of skin.

• Cellex-C® Eye Contour Gel: Tones drooping skin and reduces puffiness, crow’s feet and laugh lines around the eyes.

• Cellex-C® Eye Contour Cream Plus: Reduces signs of aging around the eyes using a powerful antioxidant called lycopene.

• Cellex-C® Eye Contour Cream: Moisturizes and smoothens the area around the eyes using a light moisturizing formulation .

The Cellex-C® patented formula of zinc, tyrosine, L-ascorbic acid, and bio-flavonoids has been medically proved to repair aging skin. Cellex-C® has incorporated many of the OPC antioxidants into the Advanced Cellex-C® product lines so that customers are provided the best possible anti-aging resources. That is because an OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins) is a bioflavonoid complex that protects the body against numerous ailments, as well as helps in collagen repair and improving skin health.

However, Cellex-C® products should be used only once every 24 hours, preferably in the morning. The products contain large concentrations of vitamin C, so using more than the recommended dose will not speed up the effects. In fact, if you use too much, you could fall victim to skin irritation. And this is a must, make it a point to remember that the skin should be completely dry before you apply any Cellex-C® product, otherwise you may notice an immediate eruption of rashes.
